1. What these plans are
FlyHandled+ is a service plan offered by FlyHandled Ltd., sold as a Trip Pass (one trip) or a Membership (every trip in the period). It adds features (the live personal map, the full disruption desk, ground recommendations, family, smart alerts and the full document vault) and a 0% FlyHandled Protect success fee on eligible claims.
FlyHandled+ and FlyHandled Protect are not insurance. They do not reimburse ticket prices, cancellation costs, medical costs or the value of lost property, and they do not guarantee that any claim will succeed. FlyHandled is not a law firm.
2. Trip Pass
- Applies to one flight, identified by flight number and date, for you and any companions you add on the same booking.
- Must be bought before the flight's scheduled departure and before any disruption to it has been announced.
- Also applies to a replacement flight the airline puts you on for the same trip.
- Benefits: FlyHandled+ features for that trip, and a 0% FlyHandled Protect success fee on eligible claims for that flight (15% if legal action is needed), with priority handling.
- It is personal and cannot be transferred to another flight or person.
3. FlyHandled+ Membership
- Available monthly or yearly. It starts as soon as payment succeeds.
- Applies to every flight that departs while your membership is active, with the same benefits as a Trip Pass, plus family, smart alerts, deal alerts and the full document vault.
- Claims for flights that departed before your membership started are handled on standard terms.
4. Renewal
Memberships renew automatically at the end of each period at the price then in force. We remind you before each yearly renewal, and tell you about price changes in advance so you can cancel before they apply.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in Settings. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and then ends. Apart from the withdrawal right below, or where the law requires, we do not refund part-used periods.
6. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU, EEA and UK)
You may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because you ask for the service to start immediately, if you withdraw we refund the price minus a proportionate amount for the service already provided.
- A Trip Pass is fully provided once the flight it applies to has departed; from then on, the withdrawal right no longer applies.
- If you submitted a claim for a flight with a Trip Pass during the withdrawal period, the Trip Pass for that flight counts as used.
- To withdraw, use Settings or email support@flyhandled.example with your payment reference. A model withdrawal form is available on request.
7. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in your local currency and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by our payment provider. If a renewal payment fails, we will try again and let you know; if it still fails, the membership ends.
8. Fair use
Plans are for personal use. They may not be resold, and claims under a plan may only be made for the account holder and companions on the same booking. We may end a plan used in breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, refunding any unused period where fair.
