FlyHandled uses only what it needs to work, and asks before using anything else. We do not use advertising cookies. Most of what we store stays on your device.

• fh.locale (cookie, 12 months): your language.
• fh.country (cookie, 12 months): your country, so the right rules are shown first.
• fh.theme (local storage, until cleared): dark, light or system appearance.
• fh.consent (local storage, until cleared): the terms you accepted and your privacy choices.
• fh.claims, fh.flights, fh.profile, fh.billing (local storage, until cleared): your claims, tracked flights, settings and plans on this device.
• fh.splash (session storage, this visit): whether the opening animation has played.
• fh.session (cookie, 30 days, not readable by scripts): keeps you signed in.
• fh.accounts (cookie, 12 months, not readable by scripts): the accounts created on this device, with passwords stored only as one-way hashes.
• fh.code (cookie, 10 minutes, not readable by scripts): a pending sign-in or reset code, stored only as a one-way hash.
• fh.owner and fh.user.* (local storage, until you delete your account): which account this device's trips belong to, and each signed-out account's trips, kept for when you sign back in.
• fh.claimDraft (session storage, this tab): a claim you haven't sent yet.

If you allow analytics, we measure anonymous usage to improve FlyHandled. It is off until you choose otherwise, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings. We honour Global Privacy Control signals.

When the map loads, the map provider receives your IP address to serve map tiles. Payment pages are provided by our payment provider, which may set its own strictly necessary cookies for security and fraud prevention.

Use the privacy banner or Settings → Privacy & data. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser; this resets your preferences and removes data stored on this device.
